An enriching workshop session on the 38th floor of CRC Tower, All Seasons Place, located at 87/2 Wireless Road, Lumpini, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand. Upon arrival, please present your valid ID card at the lobby for registration before proceeding to the 38th floor.

Transportation

Getting to Avani Sukhumvit

There are several transportation options available in Bangkok. We recommend the following five methods of travel which are known for being fast, easy, and safe for traveling in Bangkok. We generally do not recommend traveling by car or bus as traffic in Bangkok is unpredicatble.

BTS Skytrain

Taking BTS Skytrain is the fastest and easiest way to get to the venue.

Avani Sukhumvit is directly connected to the BTS Skytrain the Sukhumvit Line (Green Line) On-nut Station via Exit 3. To get to the venue from the station, you can follow these steps:

  • Take MTR Subway the Sukhumvit Line (Blue Line) to Sukhumvit Station, which is connected to the BTS Skytrain at Asok Station.
  • Transfer to the BTS Skytrain and take it to On Nut Station.
  • Exit the station at Exit 3 and follow the signs to Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok.

MRT Subway

To get to Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok by MRT, you can follow these steps:

  • Take MTR Subway the Sukhumvit Line (Blue Line) to Sukhumvit Station, which is connected to the BTS Skytrain at Asok Station. The map below illustrates how the stations are connected, which can help you navigate the transportation system more easily.
  • Transfer to the BTS Skytrain and take it to On Nut Station.
  • After arriving at On Nut Station, take the Exit 3 and follow the signs to Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok.

Note: There's also an App that tells you how to get from station A to station B with estimate time and cost

Driving and Parking

Parking at Avani Sukhumvit is free all day for guests.

Google Map Direction

Grab (Uber) / Taxi

To travel in Bangkok by car or motorcycle, we recommend using Grab (Uber). Grab is a ride-hailing app that is widely used in Thailand and is a convenient and reliable way to get around it’s allowed you to track your fares and journey. You can also order food via Grab.

  • Tell the driver to go to Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel.
  • The ride should take around 30 minutes to 1 hour from Suvarnabhumi Airport.
  • The ride should take around 30 to 45 minutes from the city center.

Airport

Bangkok is served by two airports, Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang International Airport. Both airports offer various transportation options to get to the venue.

Suvarnabhumi Airport

To get to the venue from Suvarnabhumi Airport, we reccommend using Grab or taking Airport Rail Link Skytrain (ARL Red Line).

  • Go down to the basement level and get the Airport Rail Link (ARL) Skytrain to BTS Skytrain Phaya Thai Station (45 baht, terminal station).
  • The whole journey takes about 90 minutes. Trains stop running at midnight.
  • After arriving and tranfer to the Phaya Thai BTS Skytrain, you can take the same line of BTS to get to venue to On Nut Station. see BTS Skytrain Guide for details

Don Mueng Airport

If you're taking a domestic or regional flight, you may be coming from Don Mueang airport. To get to the venue, we reccommend using Grab or taking Airport Link Skytrain (Dark Red Line).

Don Mueang Airport is also connected to the Airport Link Skytrain (Dark Red Line) but the train from Don Mueang airport is connected to MTR Subway not BTS Skytrain

  • To get to the station, follow the signs to SRT Red Line. It is not referred to as “Airport Train” on the signs.
  • There is a step-free walkway that connects the airport to the station on the other side of a massive highway.
  • At the station, you are presented with two options; Long Distance and Commuter. For trains to Bangkok, you need the commuter.
  • The Commuter Line is operated by the State Railways of Thailand. Tickets are in the form of a token. You need to buy ticket to Bang Sue Grand Station.
  • After arriving at Bang Sue Grand Station, there are signs at the Commuter Line exits that direct you to the MRT Blue Line under the station then you have to take the MRT to venue, see MRT Subway Guide for details

Getting to Microsoft Thailand

BTS Skytrain

Taking BTS Skytrain is the fastest and easiest way to get to the venue.

  • Take the BTS Skytrain to the Phloen Chit station. Exit the station via Exit 2
  • Walk 650 m. (8 minutes) or wait for the shuttle bus at the bus stop (Circular pick up and drop off every 15 minutes)

Driving and Parking

Taking BTS Skytrain is the fastest and easiest way to get to the venue.

  • All Seasons Place is situated on the same side of Wireless Road as The Athenee Hotel.
    • There are entrances on both Wireless Road and Soi Ruamrudee.
    • From Phloen Chit Road, turn left onto Wireless Road. Continue approximately 550 m. and All Seasons Place will be on your left.
  • Parking is available on levels B1 and B2, with Green Pillars marking the designated spots for CRC Tower.
    • Parking on level B1 is only available after 8:45 AM.
    • Prior to that time, parking is only available on level B2.
  • The parking system operates on an automatic license plate recognition system and does not issue parking cards.
    • Parking is limited.
    • Free parking for PyCon attendees. Please provide your vehicle's license plate number to Microsoft team to receive a digital parking voucher.

  • Tell the driver to go to All Seasons Place on Wireless Road.
  • The ride should take around 45 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport.
  • The ride should take around 30 minutes from the city center
